ZSSV pneumatic V-port piston-actuated control ball valve is an advanced control valve that integrates high-precision regulation and powerful shut-off functions. It consists of a high-thrust pneumatic piston actuator and a hemispherical valve core with a V-shaped notch. By receiving 4-20mA standard signals from DCS or PLC systems, the actuator outputs rotational torque to drive the V-port ball core to perform precise rotation from 0 to 90 degrees within the seat. The core design lies in the shearing action formed between the V-shaped opening on the ball and the valve seat, which effectively cuts through fibers, pulp, and viscous particles in the medium during rotation, while exhibiting excellent equal percentage flow characteristics. Due to the piston-type drive mechanism, it offers large output torque, agile action, and a compact structure. It is particularly suitable for precise flow and pressure control of media containing solid particles, slurries, fibers, or high-viscosity fluids in the paper, chemical fiber, petrochemical, and power industries. With its exceptional erosion resistance, high rangeability, and tight shut-off capability, the ZSSV model is a key control unit for handling harsh media in modern automated process flows.

1.Superior shearing force and anti-clogging performance:The edge of the V-port ball core is designed with a sharp blade, creating a powerful shearing action against the metal seat during the rotation and closing process. This structure easily cuts through fibers, impurities, and crystals in the medium, effectively preventing valve jamming, making it ideal for controlling pulp, sewage, and particulate-laden slurries.
2.High-precision equal percentage flow characteristics:The shape of the V-opening on the ball core is precisely calculated to provide ideal equal percentage flow characteristics within the regulation range. Its large rangeability (typically 100:1 to 300:1) ensures high regulation sensitivity even at small openings, maintaining stable and accurate process parameters.
3.Powerful piston drive and stable control:Equipped with a high-performance pneumatic piston actuator, which converts linear force into rotational torque through rack-and-pinion or scotch-yoke structures. The output thrust is significantly superior to traditional diaphragm actuators, ensuring precise positioning and reliable action even under high pressure differential conditions.
4.Single-seat design and self-cleaning function:Utilizing a single-seat structure eliminates the safety hazards of pressure accumulation in the middle cavity. The fluid flushing effect generated by the rotating ball core real-time removes scale from the sealing surface. Combined with a hardened spherical surface, it possesses strong wear resistance and self-cleaning capabilities, significantly extending maintenance cycles.
5.Bubble-tight sealing and bidirectional reliability:Soft-sealed or metal-to-metal hard-sealed structures can be selected based on working conditions. The sealing pair is precision-ground to ensure tight shut-off in the fully closed position. The metal hard-seal structure is resistant to high temperatures and erosion, maintaining extremely low leakage rates even in harsh industrial environments.
6.Intrinsic safety and fail-safe function:Utilizing compressed air as the drive source provides natural explosion-proof attributes. Combined with solenoid valves or intelligent positioners, fail-open or fail-close modes can be flexibly set, ensuring the system automatically returns to a safe preset position during unexpected power or air source failures.
