The V-type liquid cooling control ball valve is a precision control valve specially designed for liquid cooling systems in computer computing server rooms. Its core feature lies in the deep integration of the V-type ball core structure with liquid cooling heat dissipation applications. Structurally, the valve's ball core and flow distribution plate with V-shaped cutouts generate a certain shearing force during rotation, effectively cutting off trace impurities in the medium while providing a self-cleaning function to prevent jamming. Its flow characteristic is approximately equal percentage, with a large adjustable ratio and strong flow capacity. It can dynamically adjust the coolant flow rate according to the heat dissipation demand of the equipment, accurately controlling parameters such as flow rate, pressure, and temperature, thereby avoiding overcooling or insufficient heat dissipation.
This valve is specifically designed for liquid cooling systems, primarily regulating cooling media such as water, ethylene glycol/propylene glycol mixtures with a maximum concentration not exceeding 60%, deionized water, fluorinated fluids, etc. In terms of material selection, we ensure compatibility with the coolant (e.g., stainless steel valve body with FKM or FFKM seals) to prevent electrochemical corrosion or seal swelling. The valve body features smooth internal passages without dead corners, with high cleanliness requirements, ensuring long-term reliable system operation.
The clamp connection allows for quick installation and disassembly, facilitating easy cleaning and maintenance, which is particularly suitable for the sanitary-grade operating conditions of computing server rooms. The valve offers an approximately equal percentage flow characteristic with a large adjustable ratio (up to 100:1). The liquid cooling control ball valve is widely used in cold-plate or immersion liquid cooling systems in high-heat-flux-density scenarios such as data center server cooling, power electronics heat dissipation, and new energy thermal management. It is a key actuating component for achieving precise temperature control and energy efficiency optimization.

Operating Mode: The ball valve is driven by a quarter-turn actuator from 0° to 90°. The actuator receives a standard modulating, on/off, or three-state signal and moves the valve ball (the flow control element) to the position indicated by the control signal (4–20mA or 0–10V). The ball valve opens with a counterclockwise rotation and closes with a clockwise rotation.
Its core advantage lies in millisecond-level response and ±0.5% repeat positioning accuracy, ensuring millisecond-level dynamic response to coolant flow even during sudden transient thermal load changes. This keeps the chip junction temperature fluctuation within ±0.3°C, providing sub-millisecond thermal management closed-loop support for AI chips under high computing density conditions in 2026. This accuracy has been verified through actual measurements in April 2026, and the product strives to be the only liquid cooling valve in the world to have received TÜV Rheinland's AI Thermal Management Special Certification.
Flow Characteristic: The built-in flow distribution plate ensures an equal percentage flow characteristic (VDI/VDE 2173), optimized within the opening range.
