VQ electric V-port control ball valve is an industrial automation execution unit combining a high-performance intelligent electric actuator with a V-notched ball valve body. By receiving standard 4-20mA DC or 0-10V DC analog signals from control systems, the built-in servo system drives the actuator to output rotational torque, allowing the V-port ball to perform precise 0-90 degree rotation within the seat. The core technological feature is the V-shaped opening on the ball, which provides excellent equal percentage flow characteristics for linear regulation while creating a strong shearing action during closing. Due to its straight-through flow path and self-cleaning function, the VQ  is specifically designed for precise flow control of media containing fibers, solid particles, high viscosity, or crystalline substances, widely used in paper, chemical fiber, petrochemical, and water treatment automation systems.

Features

1. Superior shearing and anti-clogging performance:The ball is equipped with a sharp V-notch, creating a scissor-like shearing effect against the metal seat during closing. This allows it to easily cut through fibers, pulp, and viscous impurities, preventing jamming and ensuring tight shut-off.
2.High-precision equal percentage regulation:The geometric shape of the V-opening is hydrodynamically optimized to provide a near-ideal equal percentage flow characteristic. With a large rangeability (typically 100:1 to 300:1), it maintains stable regulation precision across a wide flow range.
3.Intelligent integrated electric drive:Equipped with an intelligent electronic actuator with a built-in servo module. It supports non-intrusive settings, fault self-diagnosis, overload protection, and fail-safe signal interruption logic for advanced automation management.
4.Single-seat design and self-cleaning:The single-seat structure eliminates the safety hazard of pressure build-up in the middle cavity. The flushing effect generated by the fluid passing through the V-opening removes scale from the sealing surface in real-time, extending maintenance intervals.
5.Excellent sealing reliability:Provides soft sealing (Class VI zero leakage) or metal hard-sealing (high-temperature erosion resistance). The ball and seat surfaces are often hardened with Stellite or Tungsten Carbide for extreme wear resistance.
6.Low flow resistance and energy saving:When fully open, the flow path is smooth with minimal resistance, providing a large flow coefficient (Kv value). This efficient performance helps reduce pumping energy consumption in the piping system.
7.Compact and lightweight design:The integrated design results in a significantly lower size and weight compared to same-sized single-seated or cage valves, saving space and reducing mechanical loads on the pipeline.
8.Modular maintenance:The simple structure has few wearing parts. The actuator-to-body interface is standardized, allowing for inspection and replacement of seals or internal actuator parts without removing the valve from the line.
