Overview
The GOST Russian Standard Gas Stop Valve is a cast steel stop valve strictly designed in accordance with Russian GOST standards. It utilizes a handwheel or electric actuator to drive the stem and disc in vertical movement along the seat centerline, achieving reliable opening and closing of media in gas pipeline systems.
The valve body is precision-cast from WCB carbon steel, stainless steel, or special alloys, offering compact structure, good rigidity, and reliable sealing. The closure member features a plug-type or conical disc, with sealing surfaces designed as flat or tapered surfaces. The disc moves linearly along the guiding mechanism to achieve strict shut-off of media flow direction.
The valve adopts flanged connection in compliance with GOST 12815-80 standards, facilitating convenient installation and disassembly. The stem is of the rising type, converting rotational force into linear motion through thread transmission for stable opening and closing control.
Available with manual or electric actuators, the valve is suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -44℃ to +434℃. It is applicable for natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, manufactured gas, air, and weakly corrosive gas media. Widely used in oil and gas extraction, transmission pipelines, city gas systems, and chemical industries, it is particularly suitable for gas pipeline conditions with nominal pressure PN16~PN40 and nominal diameter DN50~DN300.

1、Strict Compliance with GOST Standards, Adapted for Russian Market: The product is manufactured in strict accordance with GOST 5762-2002 design standards, GOST 3706-93 face-to-face dimensions standards, and GOST 12815-80 flange connection standards. It meets Russian market access requirements and is suitable for industrial pipeline systems in petroleum, natural gas, chemical, and other industries.
2、Diverse Materials, Strong Adaptability: The valve body is made of WCB carbon steel, CF8/CF8M stainless steel, and special alloys such as Titanium, Monel, and Hastelloy. Appropriate materials can be selected according to different gas media, meeting transmission requirements from ordinary natural gas to sulfur-containing corrosive gases.
3、Reliable Sealing, Excellent Shut-Off Performance: The closure member features a plug-type disc with sealing surfaces precision-lapped in flat or tapered mating pairs. During opening and closing, the sealing surfaces have no relative sliding, minimizing wear and scratches. This ensures good sealing performance, long service life, and achieves tight shut-off in gas pipelines.
4、Compact Structure, Convenient Installation and Maintenance: The stop valve has a simpler structure than gate valves, making manufacturing and maintenance more convenient. The disc stroke is short, and the valve height is smaller than gate valves, occupying less space. This facilitates installation and operation in space-constrained gas pipeline systems.
5、Flexible Operation Methods to Meet Different Requirements: Depending on working conditions, the valve can be equipped with manual (handwheel), spur gear transmission, bevel gear transmission, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric actuators. This enables on-site operation or remote automated control, adapting to gas transmission systems with varying automation levels.
6、Wide Application Range, Broad Operating Conditions: Suitable for natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, manufactured gas, air, and weakly corrosive gas media at operating temperatures from -29℃ to +425℃ (WCB material). Widely used in oil and gas extraction, transmission pipelines, city gas systems, and chemical industries.
