QV641 pneumatic V-port regulating ball valve is an industrial automation control unit that integrates high-precision regulation with powerful shut-off functions. The valve consists of a high-performance pneumatic piston actuator and a fluorine-lined ball valve body with a V-shaped notch. By receiving standard 4-20mA signals from the control system, the positioner enables precise control of the ball rotation from 0 to 90 degrees. The core feature is the V-port design on the ball, which provides excellent equal percentage flow characteristics for linear regulation while creating a strong shearing action during closing to cut through fibers and hard particles. With its full fluorine-lined cavity, this valve combines superior corrosion resistance and self-cleaning capabilities, making it ideal for harsh conditions involving aggressive chemicals, high viscosity, and slurries in chemical, paper, and pharmaceutical industries.

1. Superior shearing and anti-clogging performance:The ball is equipped with a sharp V-edge, creating a scissor-like shearing effect against the seat during closing. This allows it to easily cut through fibers, impurities, and crystals, effectively preventing jamming and ensuring a reliable seal.
2.High-precision equal percentage regulation:The geometric shape of the V-opening is precisely calculated to provide a near-ideal equal percentage flow characteristic. With a large rangeability (typically 100:1), it maintains stable regulation precision even at small openings.
3.Comprehensive strong corrosion resistance:The internal cavity and ball surface are fully lined with high-performance fluoroplastics (e.g., F46/PFA), resisting almost all strong acids, alkalis, and organic solvents except molten alkali metals and elemental fluorine.
4.Powerful piston drive and stable control:Equipped with a high-thrust pneumatic piston actuator, it provides significantly higher torque than traditional diaphragm actuators. This ensures precise positioning and reliable action under high pressure drops or high-viscosity media.
5.Low flow resistance and self-cleaning:When fully open, the flow path is smooth and unobstructed. The design avoids dead zones where media could accumulate, providing excellent self-cleaning and minimizing pressure drop.
6.Intrinsic safety and fail-safe function:Driven by compressed air, it possesses natural explosion-proof attributes. Fail-open or fail-close modes can be configured to ensure system safety during air supply failure.
7.Compact and lightweight design:The integrated design results in smaller dimensions and lower weight compared to same-sized single-seated valves. The wafer or flange design shortens the face-to-face length and reduces pipeline load.
8.Convenient maintenance and low O&M costs:The simple structure features fewer wearing parts. Standardized modular internals allow for inspection and replacement of seals or actuator components without removing the valve from the line.
