KA42Y full opening sulfur resistant safety valve is a special safety valve designed for highly corrosive acidic media such as hydrogen sulfide (H ₂ S), with a full opening and hard alloy seal. Valves strictly comply with NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 standards, and all pressure bearing and contact medium components are made of sulfur resistant materials and treated with special processes to resist sulfide stress corrosion cracking (SSCC) and hydrogen induced cracking (HIC). When the system pressure exceeds the set safe value, the valve disc quickly opens to achieve rapid release of large flow; Automatically shut down after pressure recovery. Its "Y" type hard alloy seal ensures tightness and durability in harsh acidic environments, making it a key overpressure protection equipment for handling acidic media in high-risk industries such as oil and gas fields and refining. It is mainly installed in high sulfur natural gas wellhead equipment, intake separators and desulfurization towers in natural gas purification plants, hydrogenation reactors in refineries, acid oil and gas transmission pipelines, and coal chemical transformation and ventilation systems, which are critical safety release points with high-pressure and high flow acidic media. Features:
1.Fully sulfur resistant materials and certification
The core components such as valve body, valve cover, valve disc, valve stem, and spring are made of NACE certified sulfur resistant materials (such as F316, Monel, Inconel 625, etc.) and undergo stress relief heat treatment to ensure long-term safe operation in wet H ₂ S environments.
2.Full opening large displacement discharge
Adopting a fully open structure, the valve disc has a large opening height, a large discharge area, and strong discharge capacity (displacement). It is suitable for situations that require rapid and large pressure relief, such as acidic natural gas, steam, or process gases.
3.Hard alloy seal ("Y" type)
Sealing surface welding with high-performance hard alloys such as Stellite has extremely high hardness, wear resistance, high temperature resistance, and excellent acid corrosion resistance.
4.Spring sulfur resistance and stability design
The spring material and surface protective coating both consider the requirements of sulfur resistance and hydrogen embrittlement prevention, ensuring long-term stability of elasticity and accurate and reliable setting pressure.
5.Strict leakage control and safety
In response to the toxicity and danger of acidic media, valves pursue higher sealing levels to minimize the risk of leakage as much as possible.
