Overview
The J41Y Forged Steel Flange Globe Valve is a shut-off valve specifically designed for general and demanding industrial applications. By rotating the handwheel, it drives the stem and disc to perform a lifting motion along the centerline of the seat, achieving the function of opening or closing the medium in the pipeline system. Its core design feature lies in adopting a compact straight-through flow path structure, ensuring smooth medium flow and minimizing flow resistance loss. Simultaneously, the valve body is formed using a forging process and manufactured from high-quality carbon steel, alloy steel, or stainless steel, ensuring excellent impact resistance and structural integrity under high-pressure conditions. Key components utilize precision machining processes and a metal-to-metal hard seal design. The sealing surfaces are precision-lapped to ensure good mating and reliable sealing performance during opening and closing. The valve uses a flange connection, securing the valve body flange to the pipeline flange with bolts and employing a gasket seal, offering convenient installation and disassembly along with reliable sealing, suitable for medium to high-pressure, general industrial pipeline systems. The valve can be operated by handwheel to lift the disc for opening and closing, featuring characteristics such as low operating torque, small lift height, and simple operation, making it suitable for applications requiring frequent operation. This valve is specifically designed for industrial fluid conveying systems handling media like water, steam, oil products, and corrosive media. Features
1、High-Performance Forged Body Structure: The valve body is formed using an integral forging process, manufactured from high-quality carbon steel, stainless steel, or alloy steel. This eliminates casting defects, significantly enhancing the body's density and strength, ensuring long-term stable operation under high pressure, high temperature, and demanding conditions, and completely avoiding the risk of pressure-containing part failure.
2、Reliable Stem Sealing and Operating System: The sealing surfaces of the disc and seat utilize a metal-to-metal hard seal design. The sealing surfaces are precision-lapped to ensure good mating. Rotating the handwheel drives the stem, lifting the disc to achieve reliable shut-off and passage of the medium. A multi-layer packing seal structure is used at the stem and stuffing box, allowing for gland adjustment or packing replacement as needed, effectively preventing external leakage along the stem.
3、High-Strength Flange Connection: Adopts a standard flange connection design (various sealing face forms such as raised face, male-female face, tongue-and-groove face can be provided upon request). The valve body flange is securely fastened to the pipeline flange with bolts, using spiral wound gaskets or graphite composite gaskets for reliable sealing. Offers high connection strength and good sealing performance, suitable for medium to high-pressure pipelines and systems requiring frequent disassembly and maintenance.
4、Low Flow Resistance, Straight-Through Flow Path Design: The valve body interior features a straight-through or direct-flow path structure. The medium flow path is short and smooth, effectively reducing fluid resistance loss and pressure drop. The flow path transitions smoothly, avoiding eddy currents and media stagnation, making it suitable for various industrial fluids such as water, steam, oil products, and corrosive media.
5、Widely Applicable Operating Conditions: Product design covers pressure ratings from Class 150 to Class 2500 and a wide applicable temperature range, meeting pipeline control requirements in various fields such as petroleum, chemical, power, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, and general industries.
6、Manual Operation and Opening/Closing Characteristics: Uses handwheel operation, turning counterclockwise to open and clockwise to close. Features low operating torque, small lift height, and simple, effortless operation. Suitable for applications requiring frequent operation. Stem threads are precision-machined and coated with a lubricating layer to ensure light and flexible operation.
