Overview

The D341X flanged fire butterfly valve is a valve that uses flanged connections and a worm gear transmission mechanism to drive the disc in a 90° rotation for opening/closing and flow regulation. The valve body features a concentric or eccentric design (typically concentric), ensuring uniform contact between the disc sealing surface and the valve seat. The integrally coated or lined rubber valve seat (made of aging-resistant elastic materials such as EPDM, NBR, etc.) deforms under pressure to form reliable bidirectional sealing. The worm gear transmission device (worm gearbox) amplifies the manual operating torque, enabling easy opening and closing of large-diameter valves, and provides a self-locking function to stably maintain the disc at any opening position. Due to its compact structure, low flow resistance, and reliable sealing, this valve is widely used for fluid pipeline control in fire protection water systems, water treatment, water supply and drainage, HVAC, and other applications.

Features

1. Worm gear drive for labor-saving operation: Adopts a precision worm gear reduction mechanism with high output torque, making opening and closing light and effortless, especially suitable for manual operation of DN200 and above, and features a mechanical self-locking function to prevent the disc from shifting due to medium impact.

2. Compact structure with good flow characteristics: Concentric symmetrical design with short structural length and small footprint. When fully open, the disc offers low flow resistance, the flow path approximates the pipe inner diameter, and pressure loss is low.

3. Bidirectional sealing for reliable performance: The valve seat typically adopts an integral rubber or composite soft sealing structure, precisely fitting the disc edge. By rotating the disc to compress the sealing ring, bidirectional zero-leakage sealing is achieved, with excellent sealing performance when closed.

4. Corrosion resistance and long service life: The internal and external surfaces of the valve body can be treated with anti-corrosion coatings such as epoxy spraying. Key components like the stem and worm gear are made of stainless steel or copper alloy, offering good corrosion resistance and suitability for various water qualities and mildly corrosive media.

5. Flanged connection for stable installation: Uses standard flanged connection for easy alignment with pipeline flanges, high connection strength, reliable sealing, and convenient installation and removal on existing pipelines.

6. Versatility and expandability: The worm gear drive head can be easily disassembled and replaced with electric or pneumatic actuators to achieve remote automatic control, meeting the needs of automated pipelines.
