Knife Gate Valve

Knife gate valve is a relatively new type of valve that was introduced to China in the 1980s. The gate of knife gate valve is shaped like a knife, and when closed, the sealing surface can be sealed only by the medium pressure, that is, the sealing surface of the gate valve is pressed against the sealing surface of the valve seat on the other side by the medium pressure to ensure the sealing of knife gate valve, which is equivalent to having self sealing function. However, the pressure of knife gate valve is generally below PN16. There are many driving methods for knife gate valves produced by Zhejiang Shanliu Valve Technology, such as manual, chain wheel, electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, umbrella gear, electrically controlled hydraulic and pneumatic. Ultra thin knife gate valves are widely used in mining sites, coal washing sites, steel industry coal washing pipelines, slag slurry pipelines, ash discharge pipelines, etc. due to their advantages of small volume, low flow resistance, light weight, easy installation, and easy disassembly.
