The manual brush SGL strainer is a water filtration device composed of a housing, filter mesh, a cleaning brush frame assembly with a handle, and a drain valve. It is suitable for installation in non-stop systems operating 24 hours continuously, effectively filtering out impurities to purify water quality. Inside the housing, a rotating shaft passes through the end cover; the part inside the mesh is equipped with brushes, while the external end is connected to a manual crank handle. When the mesh needs cleaning, there is no need to shut down the system or disassemble any components. Simply rotate the handle several times to brush the inner wall of the mesh where debris has accumulated, and simultaneously open the drain ball valve on the end cover to discharge the waste. The manual brush SGL-type strainer is equipped with pressure gauges at the inlet and outlet, allowing users to determine when to clean based on the differential pressure. Generally, a pressure difference of approximately 0.2 MPa, or 3-4 times the initial installation pressure, indicates that the internal mesh surface is covered with impurities and requires cleaning. Cleaning can stop once the differential pressure falls below 0.1 MPa. By utilizing the built-in brush and frame, the suspended particles and other mixtures are continuously scrubbed off and discharged through the drain valve under the flush of the system water. This product is easy to operate and convenient to use, enabling real-time online removal of filtered debris.

Rotating the handle drives the internal stainless steel or nylon brushes to remove accumulated scale from the mesh surface, effectively avoiding the tedious process of stopping the machine and extracting the core required by traditional strainers.
2.Simple operation and thorough drainage:The brushing mechanism is linked with the drain valve. While rotating the handle, opening the bottom drain valve allows impurities to be rapidly discharged under the dual action of mechanical force from the brushes and system water pressure. The cleaning process takes only tens of seconds, significantly restoring system pressure drop.
3.Long-lasting filtration system:The internal brushing device is made of corrosion-resistant materials, paired with reinforced stainless steel wedge wire mesh, offering high mechanical strength to resist water flow erosion. The brushing process causes minimal damage to the mesh, significantly extending the service life and replacement cycle of the element.
4.Compact structure and space-saving:Following the classic Y-pattern flow design, the structure is rational and compact with small dimensions. It provides the online self-cleaning functionality of an automatic filter while retaining the flexible installation characteristics (horizontal, vertical, or inclined) of a Y-strainer.
5.Economic operation and high cost-effectiveness:Compared to complex automated self-cleaning filters, the manual brush strainer has a simple structure, extremely low failure rate, and requires no electricity. It is a highly competitive selection for systems requiring frequent cleaning but with limited budgets, such as industrial circulating water, HVAC condensate water, and landscape fountains.
