ZSPQ pneumatic piston-type fast shut-off valve is an industrial safety control unit consisting of a high-thrust pneumatic piston actuator and a high-sealing straight-through single-seated valve body. It is specifically designed for emergency shut-off, opening, and automated sequence control of fluid media during production processes. The core power source is compressed air. By utilizing a matching solenoid valve to control the flow of air into the upper and lower chambers of the actuator, the piston is driven to move rapidly within the cylinder, thereby causing instantaneous linear movement of the stem and plug relative to the seat. Compared to traditional pneumatic diaphragm control valves, the ZSPQ model offers significant advantages such as faster response, larger opening/closing thrust, higher frequency of action, and excellent mechanical self-locking capabilities. It can achieve complete and tight pipe closure within seconds or even milliseconds. The sealing structure utilizes a strict single-seated design with precision-ground sealing surfaces to ensure bubble-tight zero leakage under various pressure gradients. ZSPQ valves feature a simple structure, reliable action, and strong vibration resistance, and are widely used in emergency protection systems for flammable, explosive, high-pressure gas or liquid media in the petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, and power industries, serving as critical execution equipment for the safe and stable operation of the entire process.

Features
1.Extremely fast response and instantaneous shut-off:Utilizing a piston actuator as the power source and the instantaneous energy release of compressed air in the cylinder to generate powerful force, its opening/closing speed is significantly superior to diaphragm valves. This millisecond-level response is vital for Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD).
2.High output thrust and differential pressure resistance:The piston actuator cylinder has high pressure ratings and a large effective area, outputting extreme thrust. This ensures the plug is pressed tightly against the seat even under complex high-pressure differential conditions, solving the issue of incomplete closure caused by fluid impact.
3.Bubble-tight shut-off performance:The single-seated design features precision-ground sealing pairs. Depending on the conditions, soft seals or Stellite-overlaid hard seals can be selected. When closed, it forms an absolute fluid barrier with zero leakage, preventing loss of valuable or hazardous media.
4.Intrinsic safety and fail-safe function:The actuator features a built-in heavy-duty return spring, supporting fail-close or fail-open logic. In the event of air or power failure, the valve automatically resets to a preset safety position via mechanical spring force, preventing process loss of control.
5.Robust structure and high-frequency operation:Piston moving parts are uniformly stressed, and the inner cylinder wall is hardened and mirror-polished for superior wear resistance. The valve supports extremely high cycle frequencies without mechanical fatigue, meeting the needs of automated lines for frequent switching.
6.Compact design and installation flexibility:Compared to diaphragm actuators with equivalent thrust, piston actuators are much smaller and more compact, reducing installation height and footprint. The valve supports horizontal, vertical, or tilted installation, facilitating layout in narrow spaces.
7.Material systems for harsh environments:Body and internals are available in cast steel, stainless steel (304/316L), and various alloys. For abrasive or corrosive media, sealing surfaces can be thickened with hard-facing or chemical treatment to ensure long-term service.
8.Low maintenance cost and modular interchangeability:All components adopt standardized and modular designs. With few wearing parts and high universality, the scientific connection between the actuator and body allows for rapid assembly/disassembly without removing the pipe, reducing maintenance costs.
