The HFA72W vacuum negative pressure safety valve is a specialized protective device designed to prevent the instability and damage of containers or piping systems due to excessively high internal vacuum levels (excessive negative pressure). When the system's vacuum level exceeds the preset safety limit, the valve automatically opens to intake external air (or inert gas) to balance the pressure; it closes automatically once the vacuum level returns to normal. Featuring a "W"-shaped valve body sealing surface and a sturdy structure, it is a key device for maintaining the structural safety of normal pressure or slightly negative pressure systems.
It is primarily used to protect large storage tanks (such as crude oil and chemical storage tanks), condensers, vacuum drying equipment, reaction vessels, pump suction lines, and vacuum conveying systems, preventing equipment collapse or damage caused by excessively high vacuum levels due to evacuation, cooling, or misoperation. 1. Negative pressure sensing, vacuum protection
The internal mechanism (such as a spring diaphragm) is sensitive to the system's vacuum level. The set point is the safe vacuum value, and the air intake will automatically open when the vacuum level is too high.
