The GTQ vent pipe/vent cap is an air exchange device installed on the vent nozzle of atmospheric or low‑pressure storage tanks. It consists of a rain cover, an insect screen, and a straight or elbow‑type housing, allowing free gas flow in/out of the tank due to liquid transfer or temperature changes, automatically balancing the pressure difference between the tank and the atmosphere, and preventing deformation or rupture caused by overpressure or vacuum. Its core purpose is to provide safe and efficient venting for atmospheric tanks such as water tanks, oil tanks, chemical tanks, and food tanks, with an optional flame arrestor layer to meet fire and explosion protection requirements.
