DJ41F American Standard Cryogenic Globe Valve Overview
The DJ41F American Standard cryogenic globe valve is a low-temperature-specific globe valve strictly designed and manufactured in accordance with American Petroleum Institute (API) standards. It is suitable for ultra-low temperature media such as liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, and liquid ethylene. The valve body and key components are made of austenitic stainless steel (such as CF8, CF8M) or low-temperature alloy steel (such as LCB, LCC), and undergo deep cryogenic treatment to ensure excellent low-temperature toughness and dimensional stability at temperatures down to -196°C and below. The valve features an extended bonnet design that effectively isolates the effects of low-temperature media on the stuffing box and operating mechanism, preventing packing freeze-up and valve stem seizure. The sealing surfaces of the disc and seat utilize low-temperature-specific soft sealing materials such as PTFE or PCTFE, or are overlaid with hard alloy, ensuring reliable sealing under ultra-low temperature conditions. This valve complies with standards such as API 600 and API 602, and is widely used in LNG receiving terminals, air separation units, low-temperature storage and transportation, and petrochemical low-temperature facilities. It is critical equipment for achieving reliable shut-off under ultra-low temperature conditions.

1. Strict API Standard Compliance: Design, materials, manufacturing, and testing fully comply with API 600, API 602 and other specifications, ensuring valve reliability and interchangeability under low-temperature conditions, meeting the requirements of international engineering projects.
2. Ultra-Low Temperature Materials and Cryogenic Treatment: Constructed from austenitic stainless steel or low-temperature steel, subjected to deep cryogenic treatment to eliminate residual austenite, effectively preventing brittle fracture at cryogenic temperatures and ensuring impact toughness and dimensional stability of materials at -196°C.
3. Anti-Freezing Extended Bonnet Design: The extended bonnet structure effectively lengthens the cold conduction path, keeping the stuffing box in a relatively higher temperature zone. This prevents packing freeze-up and valve stem seizure, ensuring flexible and reliable operation.
4. Cryogenic-Specific Sealing System: The disc and seat utilize low-temperature-specific soft sealing materials such as PTFE or PCTFE, or are overlaid with hard alloy. Featuring excellent sealing performance and low shrinkage rates at cryogenic temperatures, this ensures bidirectional zero-leakage sealing.
5. Fire-Safe and Safety Structure: Typically complies with API 607 fire-safe standards, forming a metal-to-metal secondary seal in case of soft seal failure. The stem features a blowout-proof design, and the packing uses low-temperature-specific materials, ensuring operational safety under extreme conditions.
