The GZW-1 deflagration flame arrester is a flame arrestor safety device installed on flammable gas pipelines, specifically designed to prevent the propagation of subsonic flames (deflagration) through the piping system. It employs a stainless steel corrugated plate flame arrestor element, which quenches flames through the narrow gaps between the corrugated plates, confining the flame to one side of the pipeline and preventing it from reaching downstream equipment or storage tanks. This flame arrester is suitable for applications where combustible gas combustion may occur within the pipeline with flame propagation speeds below sonic velocity. Its core purpose is to be installed on vapor recovery lines, vent systems, fuel gas pipelines, or ventilation ducts to block flame propagation during accidental combustion, protecting upstream and downstream equipment, personnel, and the environment, while meeting fire and explosion protection codes in industries such as petrochemical and gas transmission and distribution.

Features:
1. Specifically for deflagration flame arresting: Optimized design for subsonic flame (deflagration, flame speed typically ≤0.6 Mach) with high flame arresting efficiency, suitable for long pipelines or confined spaces where flame propagation may occur.
2. Corrugated plate flame arrestor element: Alternately wound multi-layer stainless steel corrugated and flat strips form uniform triangular/rectangular narrow passages, providing very short flame quenching distance and stable reliable performance.
3. Bidirectional flame arresting: Capable of blocking flame propagation from either direction, suitable for piping systems where combustion may initiate from either side.
4. Large flow area, low pressure drop: High porosity (≥90%) of the flame arrestor element minimizes gas flow resistance without affecting normal pipeline flow capacity.
5. Corrosion and temperature resistance: Element and housing made of 304/316L stainless steel, resistant to short-term high-temperature flame impact and corrosive media environments.
6. Compact structure, easy installation: Standard flange interfaces match pipeline; can be installed horizontally or vertically; removable housing allows easy extraction of the element for cleaning.
7. Compliant with standards: Designed and manufactured according to GB/T 13347, ISO 16852, EN 12874 and other standards, certified by authorized testing agencies.
8. Easy maintenance: Flame arrestor element can be periodically extracted for cleaning of carbon deposits or impurities and then reinstalled, eliminating the need for complete replacement.
