Swing Check Valve

The valve plate of a swing check valve is circular and hangs vertically on the valve stem. The valve plate and valve seat sealing ring of a single-plate swing check valve have the same inclination, and the valve closes and seals by the weight of the valve plate itself and the reverse flow pressure. The valve stem of a butterfly double-disc swing check valve is also equipped with a spring, which closes the valve by the elastic force of the spring and the reverse flow pressure. The rubber disc check valve, butterfly wafer check valve, micro-resistance slow-closing butterfly check valve, heavy-hammer micro-resistance slow-closing check valve, flange swing check valve, stainless steel disc check valve, and grooved swing check valve produced by Zhejiang Shanliu Valve Technology are all one-way valves, also known as check valves, which prevent damage to upstream pipeline equipment caused by the reverse flow of pipeline medium, especially at the outlet of water pumps, to prevent damage to the pump caused by water hammer. The swing check valve is an automatic valve that opens by the pressure of the flowing medium in the pipeline pushing the valve disc open, and closes by the weight of the valve disc, the elastic force of the spring, and the reverse flow pressure.
